Accessing Services as a Guest

What services are available to guests?

Guests have full access to our service provider listings as well as our open user forum. Guest registration is also needed to browse the sampler portion of our subscription services.

Why do you require guests to register?

We have set up a guest registration to learn a little about who may be interested in GISTnet so that we can better evolve the site to meet your needs and interests. If you wish to participate in our open user forum, we also need your email address to include your postings, and to send you the daily summary and/or traffic (you elect these options when you join the forum).

How do I register as a guest?

To register as a guest simply fill out the Guest Registration Form and submit it, or email it to us. If you register via the web, your user name and password will be immediately activated; otherwise, we will email you a confirmation that your user name and password have been activated.

How long will my guest registration remain active?

You may continue to use GISTnet as a guest for as long as you wish. However, we do ask that you update your registration information at least once a year. We may purge registrations for guest users who have not accessed GISTnet for six months, but will notify you by email shortly before doing this in case you wish to have continued access.

What do I do if I forget my username and/or password?

If you forget your username and/or password, but included a valid email address when you registered, you can have us email you a copy of your username and password.
