With respect to transportation, the party named on a contract of carriage as the party to which the carrier shall deliver or release the cargo to at the point of destination. More broadly defined, the party to which goods are consigned, or a bailee. If the B/L is consigned to order, delivery will be made to either the to order of ... party or, if blank endorsed by this party, to the endorsee or bearer depending on the type of endorsement.
