We guarantee our course will help you pass the Customs Broker exam. The passing rate for the April 2009 exam was 11.4% and October 2008 was 10.1%. The number of exams administered were 1500 and 1400, respectively. A very small percentage of the people who pass the exam, will pass the first time. Our pass rate for the last two exams is 80%. All of these students passed the first time. If you complete all of the exercises in our course and do not pass, just contact us within 30 days of your notification by CBP and we will assign you to the course once again without charge.
After studying for months on the brokerage test, I decided to take this course the night before the test. Although the questions on the actual test were different, I was able to quickly answer certain questions based on the GISTnet course I took the night before (one in particular involved knitted bras being in the woven chapter - Thanks GISTnet!!!)
I thought the course was incredibly helpful.
As someone who has worked in the brokerage field for 10+ years, I felt this course was the most helpful because it gave me the ability to see the question for what it was and not read too much into it, and/or second guess myself. I also found that the way we do everyday Customs work is sometimes different than the Regs read. This helped me step out of the everyday work habits and apply the black and white of Customs regs, not the gray which we sometimes deal with.
It was a very effective course on time management. It made me more aware of the HTS and regulations book, how they are set up and how to specifically use both to answer the questions faster and accurately.
